Gibran Nicholas is a professional writer, speaker and an entrepreneur. Gibran speaks and writes about economics, real estate and financial issues including the current mortgage and credit crises. Since 2005, he has been the Chairman and CEO of the CMPS Institute, a national organization that certifies mortgage bankers and brokers. Gibran has personally trained over 6,000 financial professionals across the country including CPAs, attorneys, financial planners, bankers and mortgage brokers. Gibran is regularly quoted as an industry expert in national publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch, Business Week and the Washington Post and has been featured on Fox and ABC News.

Josephine Nicholas is the Executive Vice President of the CMPS Institute. Josephine provides training and organizational leadership for the CMPS Team. She dedicates herself to delivering efficient, time-sensitive results and enjoys guiding her team members to be the best they can be. Josephine directs all public relations activities and brings a dynamic, friendly and positive approach to engage with clients and their needs. Josephine directs and leads all in-house event management duties for the CMPS Team. Known for her “concierge” level of service at all CMPS Live! events, Josephine's dependability and dedication never go unnoticed. She is an avid baker and loves sports and fitness. She has a passion for playing the piano and Arabic keyboard. Josephine is the sister to Gibran and Jaad.

Jaad G. Nicholas is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the CMPS Institute. Jaad provides operational savvy and administrative leadership to the CMPS Team. His warm, intuitive approach and "get it done" attitude assures on-time results while delivering new ideas and concepts in support of the CMPS mission statement. Jaad also spearheads the Web Development Innovation Team to assure members can easily and optimally access all CMPS member benefits. Jaad enjoys martial arts and is currently training in the arts of Tae Kwan Do and Jiu-Jitsu. Jaad is the brother to Gibran and Josephine.

Jo Anastasia is a Member Relations Representative for the CMPS Institute. She takes great satisfaction in answering members’ questions every day, and multi-tasking is her specialty. She comes to the CMPS Institute with 15 years of IT management at a company where she also co-chaired a joint civil rights committee to help promote mutual respect among people with different cultural backgrounds. In her spare time, Jo enjoys being out in nature and spending time with her grandchildren.

Brenda Behm is the Manager of Member Relations for the CMPS Institute. Brenda provides project management leadership to assist the CMPS Executive Team. Her efficient organizational skills and problem solving tenacity allow Brenda to contribute daily to assuring 100% membership satisfaction. In addition to member services, Brenda spearheads the training of new employees on systems and processes. Brenda dedicates her time outside of the office to her family and the church. With five grandchildren, Brenda is an avid cook and enjoys photography.

Rick Cockerham is the Chief Information Officer for the CMPS Institute. Rick comes to the Institute with 12 years of professional programming experience with Fortune 100 companies. He is responsible for building and maintaining the CMPS Institute web site software. Rick has a BS in computer engineering from Iowa State University. He loves what he does so much that in his spare time he enjoys... programming! He has been studying martial arts for 19 years and has black belts in Tae Kwon Do, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. Rick is married to Johanna, and has a daughter, Katelynn.

Jonathan Devine is the web designer for the CMPS Institute. Jonathan brings a passion for visual communication over the internet. His responsibilities also include designing the CMPS e-mails. When not immersed in design software you can find Jonathan enjoying rural life, spending time at the Pacific Ocean, English Country Dancing and spending time with his wife Elizabeth.

Paul Foote is the CE Credit Manager for the CMPS Institute. He is working toward having CMPS approved for continuing education credits in every state that requires licensing for loan originators. He also works with mortgage and financial associations to include CMPS training in their continuing education programs. Paul’s interests include photography, outdoor activities and sports, traveling and meeting new people and cultures. Paul is also involved with Asian Bible study groups where he meets many international students and young professionals and enjoys the cultural and traditional exposure they exchange.

Issam Jadaoun is the Controller for the CMPS Institute. He leads day to day accounting duties for the CMPS Institute. He brings a high level of expertise to the team as he spent six years performing internal audits for the State of Michigan and two years in accounting related duties. He enjoys the challenge of maintaining the CMPS records with the highest standards. Issam holds a BA degree in Accounting from Michigan State University. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Juliana. They enjoy shopping, playing volleyball and spending time with fellow church members.

Beth Maybee is Vice President of Strategic Alliances for the CMPS Institute. Beth brings a solution-based, results-oriented approach in support of the business development goals for the CMPS Team. Beth is the website administrator, marketing coordinator, company editor and strategic partner liaision for CMPS. Prior to joining CMPS, she worked for Jackson County (Michigan) as Community Corrections Coordinator for seven years, successfully funding her department through grants and working with key county stakeholders to provide comprehensive sanctions for the criminal justice system. After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in journalism, Beth also worked as an editor for Word Publishing.  Beth describes herself as "a diehard sports fan" and enjoys traveling. Beth is Sarah Olds' mother.

Donna Morris is the Event Coordinator for the CMPS Institute. She works with Josephine on all aspects of planning the CMPS Live! events. Her organizational and administrative expertise allow her to support the CMPS Executive Team with the tools they need to propel the organizations's growth initiatives. Donna is devoted to her husband, three daughters and two grandsons (her goal is to someday golf with her husband). Donna is active in her local church and enjoys interior decorating, photography and is as she says "learning to be the best mother-in-law she can be."

Sarah Olds is a Member Relations Representative for the CMPS Institute. She benefits the organization with her attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm for her work. She supports members by answering questions, and she is currently educating members on the many resources CMPS offers. Helping members and bringing a smile to their faces is her favorite part of working with CMPS! Sarah enjoys creating and performing music. She sings, plays guitar and saxophone. Sarah is Beth Maybee’s daughter.

Michael Price is the Content Manager for the CMPS Institute. For the past 15 years, Michael has been working in the real estate, title and mortgage fields. Michael holds the CMPS designation. This background combined with his tremendous work ethic make him a great asset to the CMPS Institute. Michael oversees the implementation of the curriculum, answers members' questions about the curriculum and works on special projects for the Executive Team. “Being in the real estate and mortgage industry, I had always seen the need for an organization such as CMPS. Being part of the team and the vision to raise the standards of the mortgage industry brings me great pleasure,” says Michael. Michael is married to Patti and has five children and one granddaughter.

Christa Stockfisch is the Office Manager of the CMPS Institute. Christa provides the reliability and customer service expertise to assure that CMPS members always have a positive experience. Christa always says, "Helping the members gives me the most satisfaction." Additionally, Christa's multi-tasking ability allows her to lead special project requirements for the CMPS Team as she is actively involved with new business initiatives and the expansion of the CMPS Continuing Education Program. Christa is dedicated to her family as a wife, mother and aunt to 16 nieces and nephews. She enjoys scrap booking, making chocolate and is an avid top-40 music listener.
